The final sprint regatta of the season saw the best conditions of the season, with a flat lake the reward for the paddlers who had endured the extremely challenging conditions at some of the previous regattas this year. Richmond team take 3rd place at National Marathon Championships

The National Marathon Championships were held at Worcester Canoe Club over the bank holiday weekend. Richmond sent a small team, but one packed with plenty of potential medal winners. Despite being outnumbered on the water by many other clubs the team picked up 9 National Championship titles and 15 podium positions in the various K1/C1 and K2/C2 National Championship events.
