Following last weekends racing at the National Champs, and assessment races throughout the year, the Great Britain team for the World Marathon Championships in Copenhagen (20-22 September) has been selected.
Three Richmond paddlers have made the team.
- Nick Romain will be racing junior mens K2 with Sam Plummer (Leighton Buzzard)
- Tom Sharpe has been selected for U23 mens K1 and senior mens K2 with Keith Moule (Chelmsford).
- Lizzie Broughton will race senior ladies K2 with Fay Lamph (Wey)
They will also be joined in Copenhagen by Sue Middlehurst who is racing in the masters world championships in K1 and K2.
