Death of Member, Colin Stent.Reception 6th June at 1830

It is with Sadness that we have to report the death of a long standing member, Colin Stent. Colin passed away after being involved in a road traffic accident. Colins family will be holding a small reception celebrate his life at the Canoe Club this Thursday 6th June at 630pm, prior to his body being flown back to South Africa. All those who knew Colin are invited to attend.

Marko selected for Junior GB Sprint Team

Following his performances at the April & May Nottingham Sprint Regattas, Marko has been selected to race for the Junior Great Britain Sprint team at the Piestany International Regatta in Slovakia this weekend. Norwich Assessment Race

Richmond 3rd at Hastings Marathon

The Hastings Marathon was held last Sunday, and the Richmond team finished third, just behind Tonbridge and Wey. Weekend Racing Activity

  Last weekend saw Richmond paddlers in action across the country on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday the junior coaches organised a team of 33 kayaks and 3 canoes to compete at the Regional Elmbridge Sprint Regatta. Richmond 2nd at Wey Hasler

Richmond took a big team of 46 paddlers to race at Wey last Sunday but were beaten to the first place in the Hasler competition by Wey themselves.
