Richmond win Ed Mckeever Trophy- Report

Last Sunday Richmond Canoe Club won the inaugral Ed Mckeever Trophy for top overall club at the London Docklands Sprint Regatta. Marko and Tom go International

Marko has recently returned from racing at the Junior European Sprint Championships in Poznan, where he competed in the C1 500m & 1000m events. In the semi finals for both distances he missed out on “A” final qualification by less than half a second, but went on to peform very well in the “B” finals, finishing 2nd in the 1000m and 4th in the 500m. Recent Richmond Racing

The recent sunny weather has seen many Richmond paddlers getting out on the water at local sprint and marathon events.  Last Saturday over 35 juniors raced at the Royal Canoe Club Sprint regatta over 500m and 200m.
